Like many people, I took the “traditional” route in life. I went to college, got good grades, and secured a stable 9-5 job. ✅
As a young, bright-eyed Millennial, I thought I was going to take over the world. I was going to work my way up the corporate ladder, become the CEO, and be set for life! 👔
10 years into my career, however, I grew tired, disillusioned, and realized that the dream I was sold my entire life was not MY dream. How was I supposed to live the next 30 years of my life like this? 😨
I wanted to live life on my terms and spend more time on what truly mattered. I knew that I needed to chart a new path, one that would allow me to escape the rat race a lot sooner…🧭
That’s when I discovered Real Estate Investing 🏠 and Financial Freedom 🚀
My wife and I became accidental landlords…
We were planning to move from CA ➡️ Portland, so we purchased a cute 3 bed 2 bath home (that’s us in the pic!) 📷
My wife ended up getting her dream job @ Google which required us to stay in CA (no more Portland) 🙃
After talking with our realtors, we partnered with a local property manager and listed our new home as a rental 🏡
To our surprise, the house rented in < 1 week and the rent we were able to get offset our expenses each month (lightbulb moment) 💡
We were bit by the real estate investing bug, and spent countless hours on books, podcasts, and courses 🐛
Today, we have🚪 7 units in our rental portfolio and we are just getting started!
Our goal is to achieve Financial Freedom in 10 years or less! 🚀
